The project

El Puerto de la Música, designed by the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer, is a cultural complex of concert hall, exhibition center and music school, meant to be a space where everybody can enjoy culture, open and inclusive.

It’s not just a cultural project for the province of Santa Fe and Argentina; it’s also an opportunity for the development of the city and the region. This landmark will install Rosario as one of the cultural capitals of Latin America.

El Puerto de la Música will be as renowned as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Frutillar Opera House in Chile, the Music Palaces in Barcelona and Valencia, or the Sydney Opera House.

These great pieces of modern architecture signified the revival of the cultural life in each of these cities and have had a major economic impact attracting thousands of visitors every year.
